The Punjabi sensation, who was attending the esteemed event for the first time, made sure to make a lasting impression by interacting meaningfully with other celebrities in addition to his fashionable appearance.

Posing with international celebrities Shakira, Nick Jonas, and Priyanka Chopra was one of the night's most memorable moments. Later, the singer's team posted images from the historic night on social media, emphasising his first appearance at such a well-known occasion.

Diljit was photographed with Priyanka, Shakira, and Nick in one photo, and seated next to Shakira and singer Nicole Scherzinger in another shot taken inside the Met Museum.

Diljit even reposted a cute video of Shakira greeting India with a happy "Hi India," in which the Colombian singer bows and acknowledges her greeting.

Diljit dazzled the crowd with a traditional white outfit by designer Prabal Gurung for his eagerly awaited Met Gala debut, accessorised with stunning, striking jewellery. The ceremonial sword (kirpan), a potent symbol of Sikh honour and bravery, added to the ensemble's royal feel and gave it a distinctly Maharaja vibe. The ensemble was a visually striking homage to Diljit's heritage, reflecting his strong connection to his cultural roots.
