CBS announced the host of Emmys 2025

The 77th Emmy Awards is all set to return on CBS to recognise the talented TV actors and the worth-watching shows. However, CBS has recently announced the host of the 2025 award ceremony.

Stand-up comedian Nate Bargatze will host the 77th Emmy Awards. The award ceremony will premiere on September 14 at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles.

CBS announced the news on its official Instagram account and wrote, “he #Emmys has a host! Don’t miss @natebargatze host the 77th Emmy® Awards LIVE coast to coast Sunday, September 14th at 8pm ET/5pm PT on CBS and @ParamountPlus!”

Cris Abrego, chair of the Television Academy, told Deadline, “Nate is one of the hottest comics in the business with a remarkable and hilarious brand of comedy that deeply resonates with multi-generational audiences around the globe.”

However, the comedian has also reflected on the announcement and said in the statement to the outlet, “It’s a huge honor to be asked to host such an iconic awards show and I’m beyond excited to work with CBS to create a night that can be enjoyed by families around the world.”
