Shivaji Satam drops hints of his return to CID

ACP Pradyuman is back! Shivaji Satam, aka ACP Pradyuman, has recently seemed to confirm his comeback in the longest-running show, CID. He has been a prominent part of the show since its premiere in 1998, alongside Dayanand Shetty (Daya) and Aditya Srivastava (Abhijeet).

Shivaji’s character was killed in a bomb blast, and Parth Samthaan took the role of the new ACP in the show. The makers faced brutal backlash over his departure, with the fans demanding his comeback.

However, Shivaji Satam has taken to his Instagram and shared a post teasing his comeback. He shared a black background with text written in white. The text reads, “Kuch Toh Gadbad Hai???”

A third Instagram user penned, “The Boss of Cid - Acp Pradyuman is back. Very excited for your grand entry sir. Our Shivaji sir is back.”

For the unversed, ACP Pradyuman was killed by the criminal Barboza, although his death wasn't shown on-screen. The channel, Sony TV, later confirmed his death in a social media post, with the show's official page paying tribute to the character with a ‘Rest in peace’ message.

However, Parth Samthaan’s character ACP Ayushman was recently introduced to the show. The actor also teased his character by sharing a video on his Instagram.
