With the Celebrity MasterChef grand finale just around the corner, anticipation is soaring as contestants gear up to showcase their culinary prowess one last time. The latest episode proved to be a real test of skill and nerves as celebrated Chef Rahul Rana introduced the most complex challenge yet — recreating his signature dish, Shadras, a six-course culinary marvel representing the six tastes: sweet, salty, astringent, bitter, sour, and pungent.

The dish, known for its complexity, featured 150 intricate elements across six plates, testing every contestant’s finesse and focus. With 150 minutes on the clock, the pressure was high.

However, Gaurav Khanna had a strategic edge—his advantage from the previous challenge allowed him to seek assistance from Chef Rahul for the most difficult element. Gaurav wisely chose the sweet potato roasty, a key component he found particularly challenging.

Despite the help, Gaurav faced a unique hurdle—his colour blindness, which made replicating the dish’s vibrant visuals even tougher. Still, with guidance from Chef Ranveer Brar and sheer determination, he managed to complete the elaborate dish.

Meanwhile, Faisu also felt the heat but stayed composed throughout the challenge. Encouraged by judges Farah Khan, Ranveer Brar, and Rahul Rana, he pushed through the pressure and delivered one of his finest performances.

During the results, Chef Vikas Khanna revealed that both Gaurav and Faisu had come close to replicating Chef Rahul’s masterpiece. However, Faisu emerged victorious, with 16 out of 22 elements matching perfectly, earning him the winning advantage for the next round.

Chef Ranveer commended Gaurav’s efforts and acknowledged how close he was to a hat trick win, missing it by the narrowest margin. Though Gaurav fell short this time, the episode highlighted the intense talent and drive both finalists bring to the competition.
