Global sensation BTS members have recently returned from their military service and created a buzz among the ARMY with their latest reunion. However, BTS has again sent their fans into a frenzy with the latest announcement.
BTS will release their first-ever live concert album, PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - LIVE, on July 18 at 1 PM (KST). The new album will be accompanied by a digital companion piece titled BTS Permission to Dance on Stage – Seoul.
According to Allkpop, BIGHIT MUSIC has recently reacted to the announcement and said, “We hope this album brings back special memories from the tour,” and added, “May every moment shared with BTS continue to shine in your hearts.”
The upcoming album is set to include 22 hit songs performed during the tour, such as ON, FIRE, Dope, and IDOL. It will feature BTS's huge Permission to Dance on Stage tour, which kicked off as an online concert in October 2021 and then became a massive arena tour worldwide. It had 12 shows in Seoul, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas, attracting over 4 million attendees and viewers through both live and virtual events.
However, BTS notably became the first Korean band to perform at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Both venues are among the largest in the United States.
Besides this, the Grammy-nominated seven-member group, RM, Jin, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook, are reportedly working on a new full-group album following their military service hiatus. The recent reports have suggested that they could commence the production of their new album this only and are expected to release it in the first half of next year.
