In a major milestone that has set the global music world alight, BTS’ Jungkook has been confirmed as the first K-pop soloist and fastest Asian artist to cross 9.9 billion total streams on Spotify.
According to data tracked on November 10, 2025 by kworb.net, Jungkook’s career tally on Spotify stood at 9,900,143,415 streams. Of this, 8.4 billion came from his lead credits, 3.5 billion from his solo works, and 1.4 billion from collaborations.
Fans around the world erupted in celebration. Trending hashtags like #CongratulationsJungkook and #GlobalPopStar flooded X (formerly Twitter). “#Jungkook has now surpassed 9.9 BILLION streams on Spotify, becoming the Most Streamed K-pop Soloist & Fastest Asian Act to reach this. CONGRATULATIONS JUNGKOOK GLOBAL POP STAR JUNGKOOK #9_9BillionForJungkook,” tweeted a fan.
The timing of this achievement is particularly impressive. Despite his recent mandatory military enlistment, Jungkook’s momentum shows no signs of slowing. Many fans noted that he achieved this with only one full-length solo album released — Golden (2023).
It’s not just total streams where Jungkook is excelling. Earlier this year, he became the first Asian solo artist to have all 18 of his tracks surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify. This feat placed him alongside global icons like Billie Eilish and Harry Styles for consistency.
Meanwhile, Indian fans are rejoicing ever since HYBE India officially confirmed that GOLDEN: The Moments - Jungkook’s much-acclaimed solo exhibition - will open to the public at Mehboob Studios, Bandra West, Mumbai, from December 12, 2025, to January 11, 2026. The exhibition, which first premiered in Seoul earlier this year, is designed as an immersive experience into Jungkook’s creative world.
