Jungkook and Aespa's Winter dating rumours divide fans, netizens claim "using JK to cover up Bang PD's fraud crimes"

Jungkook and Winter are speculated to be in a relationship

BTS member Jungkook and Aespa's Winter have recently fueled dating rumours. The speculations further escalated after the duo's agents declined to address the relationship rumours.

While some of the fans rooted for their relationship, claiming that things are getting serious between the two, others suspected the timeline.

Internet users are now claiming that the abrupt resurgence of speculation is related to HYBE chairman Bang Si-Hyuk's ongoing legal battle over a purported financial fraud case. In the midst of an investigation into illicit stock trading, the Seoul Southern District Court on December 4 authorised the freezing of Banhg's $107 billion worth of HYBE shares.

The general consensus is that HYBE intentionally used the timing of Jungkook and Winter's dating rumours to deflect attention from the court's seizure.

One person wrote, “now i understand why there are viral tweets spreading the dating rumor between Jungkook and Winter with that fake tattoo. Hybe and Bighit is using JK to cover up Bang PD's fraud crimes look, these accounts had fewer than 10 tweets until today.”

Another added, “#Jungkook's tattoo rumours in between this man's fraudulent activities & practices is all evident. It's always JK & Tae who are thrown under the bus to hide Bang PD or his fav's wrong doings using them as a scapegoat. We are not fools like their puppets.”

A third person wrote, “As soon as bang pd’s scandal came out yeah winter and Jungkook dating allegations started again. lmaoooo why don’t I ever see any rumours about the hyung line. I am so tired of maknae line’s dating allegations or dating Life.”

Earlier this week, "evidence" on social media rekindled dating rumours about Jungkook and Winter. The rumours started after the duo were seen with matching tattoos of three dog faces on the backs of their arms in similar places. Winter on her right and Jungkook on his left.

Several fans claimed that overlapping items like bracelets, shorts, slippers, and in-ear monitors were the main focus of the designs. Additional evidence revealed that the two were only a day apart when they displayed nail art on their ring fingers.

Additionally, some of the eyewitnesses claimed that Jungkook attended Aespa's concert during his military days, despite the fact that he strongly dislikes attending another girl group's performance under HYBE.

Meanwhile, both Jungkook and Aespa are yet to address the relationship rumours.

On the work front, Jungkook is currently gearing up for the comeback of boy band BTS with a new album.
