Even though they kept a low profile, fans commented that the scene looked “like a photoshoot,” further fueling excitement over the rare sight of two of Korea’s biggest stars spending time together.

V and Song Kang’s friendship isn’t new. During their military service, they were photographed together at the gym in uniform, and they even took photo booth pictures — moments that fans often bring up as evidence of their close bond.

In October, the two were also spotted running near the Banpo Hangang Jamsu Bridge along with actors Kim Young Dae and Jung Geon Joo, before heading to another barbecue restaurant for a meal.

V enlisted as an active-duty soldier in December 2023, serving in the 2nd Corps Military Police Special Task Force (SDT) before being discharged in June. Song Kang also completed his military service in October.

BTS members are set to release their upcoming album in 2026 after a long hiatus.
