Bollywood's newlywed couple Pulkit Samrat-Kriti Kharbanda receives grand welcome in Mumbai

Pulkit Samrat and Kriti Kharbanda got married on March 15. The couple, who initially crossed paths on the set of the 2019 film ‘Pagalpanti’, got married in the presence of family and close friends. On March 16, the couple returned to Mumbai and were welcomed with dhol beats.

Actor couple Kriti Kharbanda and Pulkit Samrat on Saturday posted the first pictures from their wedding. Taking to Instagram on Saturday, the newlyweds shared a joint post along with a note: "From the deep blue sky To the morning dew. Through the low and the high, It’s only you. From the start to the end, In every now and every then, When my heart beats differently, It’s got to be you. Constantly, Consistently, Continually, You! (sic)."

In the pictures, Kriti can be seen in a pink lehenga, while Pulkit is dressed in a mint green sherwani and turban adorned with intricate designs. The first picture showed Kriti and Pulkit Samrat holding hands and walking as their guests showered them with flower petals. Kriti kissed Pulkit on his forehead as he held her in the next photo. A candid picture showed Pulkit tying something around Kriti's neck. The last picture was clicked from the back as the duo walked amid their family and friends.

On March 16 evening, the newlyweds returned to Mumbai and received a grand welcome from their families. Several videos of the two dancing on dhol beats have gone viral. One of the videos featured the two arriving at their house and Pulkit opening the door of the car for his lady love. In another, the two along with their families grooved on dhol beats outside the house.

As seen in the videos, Kriti wore a red floral saree, ‘chooda’ and ‘sindoor’. Pulkit, on the other hand, wore an off-white kurta and dhoti.

Meanwhile, Kriti and Pulkit's love story blossomed on the sets of 'Pagalpanti'. Their on-screen collaborations include 'Veerey Ki Wedding' and 'Taish'. Pulkit was last seen in Made in Heaven Season 2 while Kriti is gearing for her next release Risky Romeo in May. Pulkit was previously married to Shweta Rohira, and they ended after 11 months.
