Actor-dancer Arshiya Sharma began her journey in the world of reality TV at a young age with the show Super Dancer. Transitioning to acting, she now stars in the series Mangal Laxmi.
However, dance remains her true passion. At just 13 years old, Arshiya has made a remarkable comeback to reality television, this time on the international stage with America’s Got Talent (AGT).
AGT also shared her first performance post on social media with the caption "we can’t look away from @thearshiyasharma’s frightening twist on dance. watch #AGT tuesdays on @nbc and streaming on @peacock."
After her audition performance went viral, she is preparing to head back to the USA for the next round.
When asked about her audition performance on AGT, Arshiya Sharma told HT in an interview: “When I went on stage for the first time, it was such a proud moment for me. I couldn’t believe that I was representing India on a global platform.”
Her entire dance act left the judges, including Simon Cowell, genuinely frightened—a fact she takes great pride in “I could hear their screams. People feel Simon sir is so strict, and everyone fears him, so to make him feel scared was my biggest achievement,” she added with a smile.
Despite her busy schedule with her show currently on air and rehearsals for AGT, Arshiya Sharma always finds time to study "in between scenes." However, her frequent absences from school have earned her a new nickname among her classmates.

She added "My fellow students call me ‘Eid Ka Chand’. Whenever I go, they all ask, ‘Tu abhi bhi hai school mein? Humein laga chali gayi.’ Although, my teachers and principal do talk about what I have been doing on screen. Some of them even ask me to speak to motivate other students to work hard," she shares.
She shares that the showrunners have arranged things so her education doesn't get disrupted. "They have arranged studio teachers to help us with our studies. They are ensuring that the kids don’t miss out on their education and are fully supportive."
She explains. "I couldn’t explore America the last time, but this time I really want to do a lot of shopping and visit Disneyland and Hollywood. My dream for now is to win AGT and work in Hollywood. But I won’t ever leave India, so I will simultaneously work in Bollywood and Hollywood," she laughs.
Arshiya is set to leave for her next performance in the AGT live shows on August 4.
