In an exciting news for fans, Arjun Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh and Bhumi Pednekar will be seen together sharing screen space in new project titled Mere Husband Ki Biwi.
The Makers, Pooja Entertainment, shared the news on Instagram with a motion poster which shows a man's shoe caught between a stiletto and a Punjabi jutti. Teh caption read, "Yahaan pyaar ki geometry thodi twisted hai—kyunki ye love triangle nahi, pura circle hai!"
The makers also announced that the film is set to hit the theatres on February 21, 2025.
Aziz expressed his excitement about the film in a press release, sharing his belief as a filmmaker in creating stories that entertain and leave audiences smiling. He emphasized that such films have lasting appeal and are perfect for repeated viewings. "Mere Husband Ki Biwi is a film that celebrates the quirks and complexities of romantic relationships. I've always been one for wholesome entertainers--movies that bring friends and families together, make them laugh, and give them something to talk about. That's exactly what we've aimed for with this film," stated the director in a press note.
He further mentioned that the film is lighthearted, relatable, and filled with moments that will linger with viewers long after they leave the theater. He was excited about casting it in a specific way and believed that once the audience connects with the characters, they will understand why.
The film is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, and Deepshikha Deshmukh, with Mudassar Aziz at the helm. While the plot details have yet to be revealed, anticipation for the movie continues to grow.
