Television actor Aashiesh Sharrma, who has put his work on hold for his family, has recently penned a tribute to his mother and wife, Archana Taide, on women’s day. The actor recognized the hard work of the duo as they supported his father in the tough time.

Aashiesh shared a video of his mother and wife taking care of his ill father. Alongside the video, the actor wrote, “Two generations. Two women. One a homemaker, the other an actor. Both standing tall, shattering myths, breaking stereotypes, and proving that strength isn’t defined by roles—it’s defined by actions.”

He added, “In Bharat, women have always been the backbone of families, the silent warriors of resilience. My mother, as a wife, and my wife, as a daughter-in-law, redefined feminism—not by words, but by unwavering love and responsibility.”

Aashiesh further noted, “People had their perceptions—‘An actor’s wife won’t do this.’ ‘A daughter-in-law won’t step up like this.’ But they didn’t just step up, they led from the front. This is feminism in its truest form—rooted in culture, fueled by action.

He concluded his post saying, “This Women’s Day, let’s celebrate the real strength of women—their ability to rise above, to protect, to nurture, and to lead.”

Throughout this challenging time, Aashiesh and his wife, Archana, remained strong together. Archana, also an actress, continued her production work from Jaipur while helping to care for her ailing father-in-law.

Aashiesh and Archana met for the first time while shooting in Baroda for their respective shows, Chandragupta Maurya and Shanidev. Aashiesh fell for Archana at first sight and soon started dating. The couple tied the knot on January 30, 2013.
