Aamir Khan Productions express gratitude after Multiplex Association of India praises Sitaare Zameen Par's exclusive theatre release

Sitaare Zameen Par was released in the theatres on June 20

Aamir Khan starrer Sitaare Zameen Par opened in the theatres with great numbers and continues to break all the records. The film is also receiving rave reviews from the audience. Besides his stellar performance, the actor is also receiving praise for ditching OTT and choosing only a theatre release.

However, the Multiplex Association of India has recently complimented Aamir’s bold move to choose theatrical release, and Aamir Khan Productions expressed appreciation for MAI.

The official social media account of Aamir Khan Productions shared the appreciation note and reshared the MAI note praising Aamir’s step to release Taare Zameen Par’s spiritual sequel to the big screens only and sending a powerful message to the other filmmakers.

While sharing the note from MAI, the production house wrote the caption, “Grateful for the overwhelming love and support MAI #SitaareZameenPar.”

Sitaare Zameen Par features 10 debutants: Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar. Directed by R. S. Prasanna, the recently released film is produced under Aamir Khan Productions.

Genelia Deshmukh also stars in the film. Amitabh Bhattacharya has penned the lyrics, and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy is behind the music. The film is produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit, with Ravi Bhagchandka as the producer.

The sports comedy-drama is a remake of the Spanish film Campeones and follows a basketball coach who serves community service by training Neurodivergent adults after a DUI. However, his life changed as he learns from his players.
