K Vishweshwar Reddy, the BJP candidate from Chevella Lok Sabha constituency, declared assets and wealth totaling to a staggering Rs 4,568 crore.
Vishweshwar Reddy, his wife K Sangita Reddy and son K Viraj Madhav Reddy have declared movable and immovable assets in his election affidavit submitted along with the nomination papers to the Election Commission. Vishweshwar Reddy and Sangita Reddy have movable assets of Rs1,178. 72 crore and Rs 3,203.9 crore respectively, while Viraj Madhav Reddy has assets worth Rs 107.44 crore.
According to reports, Reddy’s wealth is also due to his wife Sangita’s movable assets such as shares in Apollo Hospital Enterprises Limited, Citadel Research, PCR Investments, Saffron Solutions and other companies. Vishweshwar Reddy owns 70 acres around Hyderabad while Sangita Reddy owns 14 acres.
Sangita is the daughter of Pratap C Reddy, the founder of Apollo Hospitals. According to his election affidavit, Konda Visweshwar Reddy owns assets worth around Rs 1,240 crore while his wife has about Rs 3,208 crore.
Reddy began his political journey with BRS (then TRS), was elected as an MP from Chevella.

After a stint with the Congress and an unsuccessful bid in the 2019 general elections, he joined the BJP. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Madras and pursued a Master's degree in the US. Telangana Will go to polls on May 13. Reddy is up against Congress leader G Ranjith Reddy and BRS candidate Kasani Gnaeshwar Mudiraj.
