The India Post Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) 4th Merit List for 2025 has been released by the Department of Posts. Candidates who applied for the GDS recruitment can now check their selection status on the official website, indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.

This list includes the names of candidates selected for various GDS positions across multiple states, including Rajasthan, Haryana, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, North East, Odisha, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal.

How to check the India Post GDS 4th Merit List 2025?

Candidates can follow these simple steps to verify their selection status:

Step 1. Go to the official website at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
Step 2. Click on the state for which you applied.
Step 3. Find and open the "Schedule-IV" section.
Step 4. Use the Ctrl + F function to search for your name or roll number.
Step 5. Save the PDF for future reference and take a printout if required.

Document Verification Process

Candidates whose names appear in the 4th Merit List must complete the document verification process at their respective Divisional Head Office before June 3, 2025. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.

Documents Required for Verification:

  • 10th/12th Marksheet & Certificate
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • Domicile Certificate
  • Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar, Voter ID, etc.)
  • Passport-size photographs

Candidates who have not been selected in the first three merit lists were eagerly awaiting the 4th list. However, if a candidate’s name is still missing, they may have to wait for further updates or future recruitment cycles.

Important Points to Remember

  • The merit list is prepared based on 10th/12th marks and state-wise vacancies.
  • No separate call letters will be issued for document verification.
  • Candidates must carry original documents along with photocopies.
  • Any discrepancy in the list should be reported immediately to the India Post GDS Helpdesk.
