After less than a month of reports of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 catching fire in Bengaluru, another case of the phone exploding and leading to injuries to a customer come up.

According to a news portal Sakshi Post, a Redmi Note 4 allegedly exploded in the pocket of a man, who sustained injuries on his thigh. The owner of the phone Bhavana Suryakiran who lives in Ravulapalem in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh had bought the phone 20 days back.

Suryakiran was riding his bike when the incident happened. The phone could not be taken out immediately as it was burning.

People could only pull the phone out after water was thrown to extinguish the fire, said the report.
