Google India, together with several brands, has organised the festival, which may come to be known as the Indian equivalent of the Cyber Monday furore. Cyber Monday is a marketing term coined for the Monday after Black Friday, which is the Friday following Thanksgiving in the United States. The term "Cyber Monday" was created by marketing companies to persuade people to shop online.
