The market closed flat after rangebound session, as investors await Federal Reserve meeting outcome due tonight.

The 30-share BSE Sensex was up 16.06 points at 35,176.42 and the 50-share NSE Nifty fell 21.40 points to 10,718.

VedantaTata Steel, HCL Technologies, ICICI Bank, were under pressure. ITC, HDFC Bank, Reliance Industries and Kotak Mahindra Bank gained up to 4 percent.
