But the new ropeway, spanning 5.5 kilometers, will cut this travel time drastically while providing an unparalleled aerial experience. Travelers will glide through automatic passenger trolleys, equipped with modern safety features and panoramic windows, accommodating up to 1,300 passengers per hour in one direction.

To complement the ropeway, a 10-story multi-level parking facility is under construction in Purkul village near Dehradun. The upper terminal at Gandhi Chowk in Mussoorie is also being developed with a well-planned approach road and modern amenities.
