If you want a snapshot of what Indians were listening to, curious about, and casually asking through the year, Alexa’s 2025 data offers a neat peek into everyday habits. From K-Pop and Bollywood classics to true crime podcasts and celebrity trivia, Indians used Alexa as a hands free companion for music, information, and entertainment.

Amazon on Tuesday shared details of what Alexa customers in India asked most between January and November 2025, across English, Hindi, and Hinglish. The picture that emerges is one of wide ranging tastes, with global pop culture sitting comfortably alongside Indian music, sports, and mythology.

Alexa also doubled up as a DJ in many homes. Users asked for everything from viral K Pop tracks to Bollywood hits and old classics. Songs like APT by Rosé and Bruno Mars, Shaky by Sanju Rathod, Sapphire by Ed Sheeran, and film tracks such as Saiyaara and Aaj ki Raat were among the most requested on Alexa and Amazon Music.

Podcasts saw steady interest too. Indian listeners turned to Alexa for shows across genres like spirituality, business, storytelling, and true crime.
