Vivo is gearing up to launch its next flagship lineup, the Vivo X300 series, in China on October 13. The company confirmed the news through a Weibo post by Han Boxiao, Product Manager at Vivo, who also shared a few design details and colour options ahead of the official unveiling.
The series will include two models the Vivo X300 and the Vivo X300 Pro. Vivo says the design of the new handsets is inspired by “invisible design technology.” One of the standout design highlights is the camera module, which features a suspended water droplet look, crafted from cold-sculpted glass. This suggests the brand is once again focusing on premium aesthetics along with high-end hardware.
For the standard Vivo X300, four colour options have been revealed: Free Blue, Comfortable Purple, Pure Black, and a soft pink shade. Vivo describes the finish as “velvet glass,” which likely means the phones will carry a matte yet luxurious texture, reducing fingerprints while adding a touch of elegance.
While Vivo hasn’t shared full specifications yet, leaks suggest that the X300 series will bring upgrades in performance and photography areas where Vivo traditionally tries to stand out. The Pro variant, in particular, is expected to pack a stronger camera system, possibly with enhanced zoom capabilities and low-light imaging improvements.
As for pricing, the Vivo X series typically falls in the premium mid-range to flagship category in China. Industry insiders expect the standard Vivo X300 to start around CNY 3,500 (roughly Rs 40,000), while the Pro model may go above CNY 4,500 (around Rs 52,000).
With the launch just weeks away, anticipation is building around how Vivo plans to compete with rivals like Xiaomi, Oppo, and Samsung in the premium segment. If Vivo delivers on both design and performance, the X300 series could become one of its most compelling lineups yet.
