Sony launches ULT speaker series in India, starting at Rs 17,990

1Sony has introduced its new ULT POWER SOUND series in India, featuring a mix of large party speakers, portable Bluetooth models, and a wireless microphone. The lineup includes the ULT TOWER 9, ULT TOWER 9AC, ULT FIELD 5, ULT FIELD 3, and the ULTMIC1, with prices starting from Rs 17,990.

The company says all products in this range are built around one key feature — an “ULT” button that boosts bass for a more powerful sound.

Big party options

At the top end, the ULT TOWER 9 and ULT TOWER 9AC are designed to bring concert-like sound into homes. They have 360° Party Sound and lights, karaoke and guitar inputs, and can connect with up to 100 other compatible speakers for bigger events.

The ULT TOWER 9 runs on battery for up to 25 hours, making it suited for outdoor or unplugged gatherings. The ULT TOWER 9AC offers the same sound and features but works as a plug-in unit for continuous use. Prices are Rs 84,990 and Rs 69,990 respectively.

Portable speakers for travel

The ULT FIELD 5 and ULT FIELD 3 are smaller, portable Bluetooth speakers built for travel and outdoor use. Both are water, dust, and shock resistant, and come with a multi-way strap for easy carrying.

The ULT FIELD 5 (Rs 24,990) offers up to 25 hours of battery life, while the ULT FIELD 3 (Rs 17,990) runs for 24 hours. Both can connect to two devices at once and link with up to 100 other compatible speakers for a multi-speaker setup.

Wireless microphone

Sony has also launched the ULTMIC1 wireless mic (Rs 14,990), aimed at karaoke lovers and performers. It promises clear vocals, reduced background noise, and a “Duet Assist” feature to balance sound when two people are singing. The mic runs for up to 20 hours and supports fast charging.

All products in the ULT POWER SOUND series are available now through Sony retail stores, online portals, and major electronics outlets.
