Sony India today announced the launch of its Bravia 8 II QD-OLED TV series in India. The new range comes with QD-OLED technology, an XR processor and Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support for a cinematic home viewing experience.
The Bravia 8 II QD-OLED series is powered by Sony’s XR processor with Artificial Intelligence. It optimises picture and audio in real time and delivers lifelike colours, deep black levels and rich contrast. The QD-OLED technology lets each pixel illuminate independently, adding depth to black scenes and making colours more accurate across the spectrum.
FeaturesBravia 8 II QD-OLED comes with XR Contrast Booster to control light and dark areas, delivering realistic contrast. The TV also supports XR Triluminos Max, which reproduces a rich range of colours, adding depth and texture to the picture. Acoustic Surface Audio+ converts the whole screen into a speaker, adding direction to the audio. The QD-OLED technology, combined with this, promises a cinematic experience for films, shows and games.
For gamers, the Bravia 8 II QD-OLED supports 4K at 120fps, VRR and Auto Low Latency Mode. The TV switches into game mode when connected to a PS5, reducing lag and adding clarity to fast-paced scenes.
The TV is calibrated with Netflix Adaptive, Prime Video, and Sony Pictures Core calibrated modes to match the picture to a filmmaker’s view. It also comes with 10 free credits to stream 4K HDR and IMAX enhanced films through the Sony Pictures Core service.
