Oppo Find X8 series pre-reservations begin in China, key specifications confirmed

Oppo is gearing up to launch its Find X8 series smartphones in China this month. The series is confirmed to launch on October 24 and the company has started accepting pre-reservations for the Find X8 series through its official website in China. The listing and some Weibo teasers have also confirmed the design and a few specifications of both the phones in the series.

Oppo Find X8 series: Key specifications

The Oppo Find X8 Pro is expected to come with a 6.8-inch 2K 120Hz micro-curved AMOLED screen. Moreover, it will have a 50MP main, a 50MP ultra-wide, a 3x telephoto camera, and a periscope telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom. It will also come with a 5700mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The smaller Find X8 is tipped to come with a 6.5-inch 1.5K 120Hz flat AMOLED screen. In terms of optics, it will have a 50MP main, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 3x telephoto camera. The smartphone is expected to come with a 5600mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Both phones are confirmed to ship with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC. The pre-order listing also confirmed that the Find X8 will come in four colour options: black, blue, pink, and white. Meanwhile, the X8 Pro model is listed in black, blue, and white colour shades. The vanilla X8 model will be 7.85mm thick and weighs 193 grams. On the other hand, the Find X8 Pro will have 8.24mm in thickness and weigh 215 grams.

The Find X8 series will debut alongside the Oppo Pad 3, Oppo Watch X, and the Enco X3 TWS earbuds on October 24.
