OnePlus Nord 4 launches in India

OnePlus has launched the OnePlus Nord 4 at its Summer Launch Event in Milan today. This mid-range smartphone comes with a metal unibody design, which is the first for any 5G smartphone launched till now. Moreover, OnePlus has assured that the phone will be supported with four years of OS updates and six years of security patches.

The OnePlus Nord 4 has a starting price of Rs 29,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 8 + 256 and 12 + 256 variants are priced at Rs 32,999 and Rs 35,999 respectively. The smartphone is available in Obsidian Midnight (Black) Oasis Green, and Mercurial Silver colourways.

OnePlus is providing a flat Rs 3,000 discount with ICICI Bank and One credit card transactions.It’s up for pre-order from July 20 till July 30 on Amazon, OnePlus’s website, and other leading retail channels.The base 8 + 128GB variant will be available from August 2on open sale and will have a starting price of Rs 27,999 after offers.

The OnePlus Nord 4 comes with a 6.74-inch U8+ OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 2,150nits of peak brightness. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset. The smartphone comes with two different storage configurations, with the base 128GB storage model coming with UFS 3.1 storage, whereas the higher two models come with 256GB UFS 4.0 storage.

It is currently running on Android 14 out of the box with OxygenOS 14.1 skin on top. The Nord 4 features a 50MP Sony LYTIA primary sensor with OIS and EIS support and an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens with a 112-degree field of view (FoV). On the front, there is a 16MP sensor for selfies or video calls.

The Nord 4 comes with a 5,500mAh battery with support for 100W SUPERVOOC charging. It is the first phone to receive the TÜV SÜD Fluency 72 Month A rating, which the company suggests helps in running the phone in optimal condition for upto six years. It also comes with AI features such as AI Audio Summary, AI Note Summary, and AI Text Translate.
