Nubia confirms launch of Z70S Ultra Photographer Edition featuring vintage camera design: All the details

Nubia has officially announced the launch date of its Z70S Ultra Photographer Edition, scheduled for next week. Through a new post on the company’s Weibo handle, the brand revealed the design of this handset alongside its two official colourways. It will come with a camera-centric design and will launch alongside a mystery product at the Nubia AI Dual Flagship New Product Launch on April 28.

After launching the Z70S Ultra in November last year, Nubia is set to introduce the Z70S Ultra Ultra Photography Edition next week, which will have a focus on providing various photography features. Moreover, it will adopt an aesthetic inspired by vintage cameras, complete with a red-ring accent around the camera module and a Neovision-branded stamp to showcase its photographing capabilities.

The company has also confirmed that the phone will use a fifth-generation 35mm lens and a one-inch main camera sensor similar to that of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, with a significantly larger lens diameter. The Weibo post reveals that the device will come with a vegan leather rear panel in black and light brown colours.

Further, it has a triple rear camera setup, which could consist of a telephoto and an ultrawide-angle lens. Other specifications of the Nubia Z70S Ultra Photographer Edition are still under wraps, but we can expect it to have similar hardware to the Nubia Z70s Ultra, which was launched last year. Moreover, it will have support for external lenses and will have a camera-like operating console, shutter, dial, and expandable optical kit.
