Nothing is set to launch the Phone 3a Lite in India today, confirming its arrival for November 27. The smartphone is positioned as a more accessible entry point into the company’s lineup, offering the familiar transparent design language at a lower price. The device  is expected to trim certain hardware elements compared to its more premium counterparts while retaining the core Nothing user experience, including the monochrome UI and a simplified version of the Glyph lighting system. With the growing demand for mid-range 5G phones in India, the Phone 3a Lite is expected to attract consumers seeking a distinct design and stable performance.

Expected price in India

Market reports and early leaks suggest the Phone 3a Lite may be priced between under Rs 25000. This places the smartphone directly against devices from brands such as iQOO, Realme, Poco and Samsung in the affordable 5G category. Nothing’s pricing strategy appears to focus on offering its signature hardware styling and clean software experience at a more competitive level. The company is expected to reveal the final pricing and sale details during the launch event later today.

Nothing Phone 3a expected features

According to leaked specifications, the Phone 3a Lite may feature a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The peak brightness is rumoured to reach 3,000 nits, though this remains unconfirmed.

The device is expected to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro, a 4nm chipset that has appeared in multiple certification listings. The phone is believed to include 8GB RAM, with storage options of 128GB and 256GB, along with support for virtual RAM and a microSD card slot. Actual performance capabilities will depend on Nothing’s final hardware tuning.

The smartphone is rumoured to carry a 50MP primary camera paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens. A 16MP front camera is expected for selfies. Camera modes such as night mode, portrait enhancements and software tuning are likely based on Nothing’s previous phones.

Battery leaks suggest a 5,000mAh unit with support for 33W charging and reverse wired charging, though the final charging speeds may vary at launch.

The Phone 3a Lite is expected to retain Nothing’s transparent aesthetic, but with a single Glyph LED strip, making it simpler than the Phone (3a). Early renders indicate Black and White colour options.

Software-wise, the phone is expected to run Android 15 with Nothing OS 3.5, bringing updated widgets, customization features and AI-assisted tools. Connectivity options such as 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC and an IP54 rating have also appeared in regulatory listings
