Nothing Phone 3 is set to make its debut in India soon, with fresh indications suggesting that the launch might take place earlier than previously expected. While the company has not announced an official date, the device has been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website, signalling an imminent release. Nothing founder and CEO Carl Pei has also confirmed the phone’s existence and hinted at its upcoming arrival through teaser posts on social media.

The Nothing Phone 3 was earlier confirmed to launch in the third quarter of 2025 — sometime between July and September. However, the BIS listing and growing frequency of teasers have led to speculation that the company may unveil the phone sooner.

The Phone 3 is expected to retain the brand’s transparent design philosophy, including the unique Glyph Interface – a pattern of LED lights on the rear that signals calls, notifications, and more. Rumours suggest a 6.77-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 3,000 nits.

In terms of hardware, the Phone 3 is tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, Qualcomm’s latest flagship platform. Leaks point to a redesigned triple rear camera setup, potentially including a periscope-style telephoto lens, which would mark a first for the brand. The device may also feature a battery larger than 5,000mAh and ship with Nothing OS 3.2 based on Android 15.

Carl Pei has suggested that the device will be priced at around £800 in the UK, which roughly converts to Rs 90,000. However, the Indian price is expected to be lower, likely between Rs 55,000 and Rs 65,000 to stay competitive in the premium Android segment.

With BIS certification now complete and official teasers intensifying, more details about the Phone 3’s specifications and availability are expected soon. The launch will mark Nothing’s entry into the flagship smartphone space after focusing on mid-range devices with the Phone 1 and Phone 2.
