The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion has launched in India and is the first smartphone to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, which was launched last month. The device has a direct competitor in the form of Realme P3 Pro, as both smartphones offer good performance, innovative features, and strong camera setups, making them worthy options for anyone looking for an all-around device.

In this article, we will do a spec-by-spec comparison of the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion with the Realme P3 Pro to find out which one is the best fit for users looking to buy a smartphone under Rs 25,000.

Motorola Edge 60 Fusion vs Realme P3 Pro: Design and display

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion has a 3D silicone vegan leather back panel and weighs 180 grams with a thickness of 8.25 mm. The device has MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification for durability and an IP69 rating for improved resistance against dust and water. Moreover, it has a 6.67-inch pOLED quad-curved display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The screen supports peak brightness of up to 4500 nits.

In contrast, the Realme P3 Pro has a plastic back panel and is slightly heavier, weighing 192 grams. It also gets the same military-grade certification and IP69 rating. However, the P3 Pro offers a bigger 6.83-inch quad-curved AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Sadly, it only offers 1500 nits of peak brightness.

Motorola Edge 60 Fusion vs Realme P3 Pro: Software and performance

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion runs on Android 15 with Hello UI skin on top. It comes loaded with multiple Moto AI features and also has Gemini AI integration. It will recieve three years of major Android updates and four years of security patches. Further, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor and comes in 8GB RAM +256GB and 12GB RAM +256GB variants with UFS 2.2 storage and LPDDR4X RAM.

The Realme P3 Pro also comes with Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15. It has plenty of AI-powered features for photo editing, such as AI Reflection Remover, AI Erase, AI Unblur, and more. However, the company has promised only two major Android updates and three years of security patches. Moreover, the device is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor and is available in 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB configurations with faster UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR4X RAM.

Motorola Edge 60 Fusion vs Realme P3 Pro: Camera

The Moto Edge 60 Fusion has a triple rear camera setup, which includes a primary 50MP Sony LYT-700C sensor with OIS, a 13MP ultrawide lens, and a third light sensor. The device supports 4K video recording at 30fps. The phone also has a 32MP selfie camera.

Meanwhile, the Realme P3 Pro boasts dual rear cameras, including a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and a 2MP depth sensor. It can also shoot videos up to 4K at 30fps. For selfies, it features a 16MP camera. However, the Edge 60 Fusion, with its extra ultrawide lens, provides a more versatile camera setup and also has a higher resolution selfie camera.

Motorola Edge 60 Fusion vs Realme P3 Pro: Battery and Charging

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion comes with a 5500mAh battery supporting 68W TurboPower wired fast charging. Moreover, the charger is included in the box. However, the Realme P3 Pro sports a larger 6000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC charging support. The charger is also bundled in the box.

The Realme P3 Pro, with its larger battery, will certainly offer improved battery backup when compared to the Edge 60 Fusion. Its battery can also be topped up quickly with the faster 80W charging support.

Motorola Edge 60 Fusion vs Realme P3 Pro: Verdict

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion offers a more premium and lightweight design. It also has a better camera setup with an additional ultrawide lens. The longer software update cycle also makes it a better alternative for long-term users. However, the Realme P3 Pro with its Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor offers 90fps gaming support, which gamers would appreciate.

It also offers a larger battery with faster charging speed, making it suitable for power users. Therefore, for users who use their smartphones for longer hours and love to game a lot, the Realme P3 Pro is a better buy for them.
