Reliance Jio has reduced the price of its JioBharat 4G phones under a special Diwali offer from Rs 999 to Rs 699."In this limited-period offer, JioBharat 4G phones that are presently available at Rs 999 will be available to all users at a very special price of only Rs 699," the company said in a statement.

Users of JioBharat 4G phones can make unlimited voice calls, get access to over 455 television channels, and 14 GB data at just Rs 123, the company said.
"When compared with the lowest feature phone plan available with other operators (Rs 199 / month), the JioBharat plan is almost 40% cheaper and provides Rs 76 savings every month," the statement further said.

JioBharat phone features

The V2 phone has a 1.77-inch QVGA TFT display and also offers a removable 1000mAh battery. As expected, the phone will be locked to the Jio network, which means the users will need a Jio SIM in the tray to use it.

Besides this, the users will get the usual assortment of feature phone staples like a torch light and FM radio. The phone also has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a 0.3 megapixel camera on the back. It supports expandable storage via SD cards up to 128GB.

The phone will support UPI payments through JioPay, have access to JioCinema for movies, videos and sports entertainment, and JioSaavn service which includes more than 8 crore songs in multiple languages.
