Airtel and Google Cloud

Bharti Airtel has announced a new cloud storage offer for its existing and new customers. As a part of this offer, the telecom service provider is offering 100GB of free Google Cloud storage. Here’s everything – from claiming the 100GB of free Google Cloud storage to eligibility criteria – you need to know.

Airtel 100GB free Google Cloud Storage: Eligible customers
The Google One offer is available exclusively to Airtel Postpaid and Airtel Xstream Fiber (Wi-Fi) customers in India. Only active subscribers on these plans are eligible to claim the six-month complimentary 100 GB Google One cloud storage.

Customers must be on an active Airtel Postpaid mobile plan or Airtel Xstream Fiber broadband connection.

How to claim 100GB of free Google Cloud Storage
To claim, users need to download and install Airtel Thanks app via Play Store or App Store. Then, log in using their phone number or credentials. Look for Airtel Thanks option at the top and find the Google Cloud Storage option. Follow the steps to claim the free storage.

What’s included

The plan provides 100GB of cloud storage usable across Google Drive, Photos, and Gmail. It also allows family sharing with up to five people and automatic WhatsApp backup for Android users.

What happens after 6 months

After the free period, a Rs 125/month charge will be added to the user’s monthly bill unless the subscription is cancelled via the app or account settings.

Device compatibility

The offer is available on both Android and iOS devices, enabling broad access across smartphones and tablets.

Things to keep in mind
Do note that the offer applies once per customer. This means, if you’ve claimed the offer once, you can’t claim it again and you’ll have to pay Rs 125 per month after six months.
