PV Sindhu is all set to the tie the knot in December 22 in an intimate ceremony, which will take place in Udaipur. The ceremonies start from December 20 onwards and a grand reception will take place on December 24, which will be in Hyderabad. The schedule has been decided in a way to allow Sindhu return to the international circuit in January.

Sindhu, a two-time Olympic medallist, is getting married to Hyderabad-based Venkata Datta Sai, who is an executive director at Posidex Technologies. As told by Sindhu's father, the two families know each other but everything was finalised in November. He also informed that Sindhu will resume her training soon after the ceremonies are over as next season is crucial for the player.

Sindhu on Sunday had ended her two-year title drought at the Syed Modi International Championship in Lucknow. Talking to reporters then the shuttler had stated to stretch her career at least till the 2028 Los Angeles Games.

Who is PV Sindhu's to-be husband?

As mentioned earlier Venkata Datta Sai is a Hyderabad-based executive director at Posidex Technologies. He has a good understanding of finance, data science, and asset management.

Education

He has a Diploma in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the Foundation of Liberal and Management Education. He then studied BBA in Accounting and Finance from Flame University and graduated in 2018. He also has a Master's degree in Data Science and Machine Learning from the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore.

Sports connection

While Venkata may be from the field of finance, he does have an experience of working in the sports ecosystem. He began his career as a summer intern and in-house consultant at JSW, where he also managed Delhi Capitals. Sharing his experience of working closely with the IPL franchise, Venkata on LinkedIn wrote: "My BBA in finance and economics pales in comparison to managing an IPL team, but I must admit I learnt a lot from both of these experiences."

Career

Venkata embarked on dual leadership roles in 2019, when he was the Managing Director of Sour Apple Asset Management and the Executive Director at Posidex Technologies. He is currently with Posidex where he he leads marketing, HR initiatives, and global partnerships.
