With the formal confirmation of the WPL 2026 mega auction date, anticipation for the fourth season of the Women's Premier League (WPL) is growing.

The WPL Auction is anticipated to see intense competition for both new and current players, giving teams a crucial chance to reorganize their squads ahead of the competition.

All five franchises will fight to bolster their teams during the high-energy, one-day mega auction, which is scheduled for November 27 in New Delhi.

There are 73 spots available, 23 of which are set aside for international players, and each team may field a squad of 18 players. This guarantees that the auction will feature both domestic and overseas talent.

The remaining funds for each team were disclosed prior to the auction, with UP Warriorz owning the most at Rs 14.5 crore, followed by Gujarat Giants at Rs 9 crore, Royal Challengers Bangalore at Rs 6.15 crore, Mumbai Indians at Rs 5.75 crore, and Delhi Capitals at Rs 5.7 crore. The UP Warriorz are well-positioned to make aggressive bids for elite players.
