On this day (August 11) back in 2005, Shane Warne became the first bowler to take 600 Test wickets. He achieved the feat at Old Trafford by dismissing Marcus Trescothick.
Only five bowlers have managed to scale 600 Test wickets or above feat in the history of Test cricket, with Muttiah Muralitharan leading the charts with 800 scalps. (AP Photo)
