Mohammed Siraj is a character both on and off the field. Not so long ago he was involved in a fiery send-off episode with Travis Head, for which he was also penalised by the ICC. However, the punishment hasn't restricted Siraj from employing his antics on the field.

A similar episode was witnessed on Day 2 of the third Test between India and Australia at the Gabba in Brisbane. Siraj after completing his over walked towards Marnus Labuschagne and employed the classic bail switch trick.

The move was not appreciated by Labuschagne, who tried to enquire Siraj as he approached towards him. The Indian didn't acknowledge him and switched the bails before returning to his fielding position. Shubman Gill then walked towards Siraj and placed his hands on his teammate shoulders as the two walked back.

In the meantime Labuschagne reversed the bails to its original position but the damage was already done.

Labuschagne was dismissed in the next over bowled by Nitish Reddy, who managed to get an outside edge off the batter and it was caught by Virat Kohli at the slip cordon. The move worked for Siraj as he unsettled the batter, who had already faced over 50 deliveries and was stitching a partnership with Steve Smith. Labuschagne was dismissed for 12 off 55 balls.

The incident took place after the end of 32nd over. Travis Head, arguably one of India's biggest nemesis, then joined the proceedings and took Australia to 104/3 at Lunch. The second session is underway and the duo have now added over 80 runs for the fourth wicket, with Head also completing his half-century and Smith batting in his 40s.

Earlier, Jasprit Bumrah gave India a perfect start as Australian openers Usman Khawaja and Nathan McSweeney resumed from the overnight total of 28/0. The pacer packed Usman Khawaja and Nathan McSweeney in quick succession before Labuschagne combined with Smith to bring the house back in order.
