IPL 2025: MS Dhoni showcased his trademark lightning-quick reflexes at the age of 43 as the Chennai Super Kings legend executed a stunning stumping to dismiss Suryakumar Yadav during the IPL 2025 match against the Mumbai Indians at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Sunday (March 23).
Left-arm spinner Noor Ahmad delivered a googly which Yadav could not pick and hence missed the line completely. The ball turned the other way and Surya was well out his crease when MSD clipped his bails. Watch the video here...

The commentators were left in awe of Dhoni’s brilliance and showered praise on the Indian legend. Ravi Shastri, who previously coached the Indian team alongside Dhoni, made a lighthearted remark, joking that one wouldn’t want to leave their wallet exposed with MS Dhoni lurking behind.
"In a crowded place, you don't want your wallet halfway out of your back pocket, and MS behind," Ravi Shastri said while commentating the CSK vs MI match.
Earlier, Chennai Super Kings captain Ruturaj Gaikwad won the toss and elected bowl first against Mumbai Indians in an Indian Premier League match. For MI, Ryan Rickelton and Satyanarayana Raju made their IPL debuts while Will Jacks (former RCB) and Mitchell Santner (former CSK) made their debut for the Mumbai outfit.
Before the match, MI's stand-in captain, Suryakumar Yadav, couldn't help but laugh when asked about MS Dhoni during a pre-match press conference ahead of the highly anticipated IPL 2025 clash against Chennai Super Kings.

"It's always an excitement when you come to Chennai and watch him come out of the dressing room. You learn so many good things from him, and we still do whenever we get an opportunity to chat with him. I'm excited to see him again, but I will be leading against him, so it will be a good challenge."
