Rinku Singh, a batsman for the Kolkata Knight Riders, visited the Mumbai Indians' dressing room to meet up with his friends from Team India following Monday's Indian Premier League game. While standing beside India skipper Rohit Sharma, who was inspecting his bats from the kit bag, Tilak Varma made fun of the young sensation.
The Mumbai Indians posted a video of Rinku and the home team players’ banter on social media. Tilak stated at the beginning of the clip that Rinku had a good willow with him, but he requested Rohit for a bat.
Rinku had already persuaded RCB star Virat Kohli to give him his bat in a video that went viral last season, so this wasn't the first time he had done so.
MI captain Hardik Pandya came over to Rinku as he and Rohit were standing there and inquired as to if he had come for a bat. “Honestly, I just came here to meet him (Rohit),” the KKR star admitted.

But Angkrish Raghuvanshi, another KKR youngster, appears to have taken Rohit's bat when he posed with a bat that had a CEAT sticker on it.
The Mumbai Indians defeated the Kolkata Knight Riders by eight wickets on Monday in the IPL season thanks to a spectacular four-wicket haul from debutant Ashwani Kumar in the mega clash at the Wankhede Stadium.
Due to Kumar's 4-24 and his generally disciplined bowling effort, Kolkata, the reigning champions, were held to a modest 116. In response, Mumbai chased down the target with more than seven overs remaining, as Ryan Rickelton hit his first IPL fifty.

Rohit's form is a major worry for the Mumbai Indians despite the victory because the dashing opener hasn't left an impression thus far.
The former MI skipper made things worse by scoring only 8 and 13 in the next two after a duck in the first.
Rohit’s performance in the most recent IPL seasons has fallen short of his expectations. The last time Rohit had a season with more than 450 runs was in the IPL in 2016, when he managed to record just two 50-plus scores last season, scoring 417 runs at an average of 32.08.
