Due to the shutdown of the hill town's airport following military operations against Pakistan's terror infrastructure, the May 11 IPL match between the Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians has been moved to Ahmedabad from Dharamsala.
Anil Patel, secretary of the Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA), told PTI that the news been confirmed. The game will be played in the afternoon.

"BCCI requested us and we accepted. Mumbai Indians are arriving later today (Thursday) and travel plans of Punjab Kings will be known later," said Patel.
On Thursday, Punjab Kings will meet the Delhi Capitals in Dharamsala. Following India's military operations on terrorist infrastructure within Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Jammu and Kashmir in retaliation for the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, the Dharamsala airport has been closed to commercial flights for at least May 10.

With airplane operations suspended in the charming town, it is unclear how the Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings will be transported out of Dharamsala. Teams must figure out how to get to Delhi because Chandigarh Airport is also closed.
The Delhi Capitals will play the Gujarat Titans at home on May 11.
"TATA IPL Match No. 61 between Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians, originally scheduled to be played in Dharamshala on Sunday, May 11, has been relocated to the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The venue change has been necessitated due to logistical challenges. The match will begin at 3:30 PM IST as per the original schedule," wrote TATA IPL's official website in a press release.
The Punjab Kings are on course to qualify for their first IPL playoff appearance since 2014.
