Mumbai Indians will take on the Gujarat Titans in the Eliminator of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season. The high-octane match is scheduled for Friday (May 30) at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, Chandigarh. MI suffered a defeat in their last league match against the Punjab Kings, finishing fourth in the table with 16 points. The Hardik Pandya-led side now needs to win both the Eliminator and Qualifier 2 to reach the final.
In what could be a major blow, the fitness of Deepak Chahar and Tilak Varma is in doubt. The duo was seen with heavy strapping on their legs in a viral video shared by a fan on X (formerly Twitter). Both appeared to be struggling to walk, with noticeable bandages on their respective legs. Watch the video here:

It could be a huge blow to the Mumbai Indians if both these players are not fully fit for the important clash set to take place in Chandigarh. The franchise is yet to give any update on their fitness.

Notably, Chahar faced some issues with his leg in the game against Punjab and also left the field once. He returned later to bowl but was struggling with his hamstring.

The right-arm fast bowler has been a crucial part of the team's success in the IPL 2025. He has picked 11 wickets in 15 games with an economy rate of 9.17. On the other hand, Varma has 274 runs so far with a strike-rate of 131.73.
