Nitish Reddy's contribution in the first Test against West Indies, which India won by an innings and 140 runs, was bare minimum. Despite being an all-rounder, he was hardly utilised in bowling. India bowled a total of 89.2 overs and yet he got only four. And with the bat he didn't get a chance as India took a decision to declare their innings right before play was set to resume on Day 3, which eventually turned out to be the final day of the match.
While Reddy may have missed out from making an impact with the bat or the ball, he surely gave internet a wild moment to celebrate with his spectacular effort on the field. As play got underway on Saturday, Reddy completed a superb diving catch in the eighth over bowled by Mohammed Siraj. His effort saw India claim their first wicket of the day as Tagenarine Chanderpaul's stay in the middle was cut short at 8(23).
Reddy grabbed the stunner at square leg after Chanderpaul tried to pull a short delivery but was cramped for room. He didn't get the desired timing and Reddy completed the rest by throwing himself towards the ball.

Celebrating the moment, Reddy poked fun and made a special request to Puma Cricket, of which he is a brand ambassador. "Time to change the logo," he wrote sharing a photo of him diving in the air, almost in a similar position as the brand's logo.
Taking note of Reddy's request, Puma responded to the post.

In a different post made earlier on Saturday, Puma called Reddy the "Purr-fect brand ambassador".

Meanwhile, the outcome helped India take a 1-0 lead in the two-match series. The second match is scheduled to be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi from October 10-14.
