India vs West Indies Highlights: India defeated West Indies by an innings and 140 runs in the first Test at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar had pushed the Indian total to 448/5 at Stumps the previous evening, which stretched the lead to 286 runs. India then decided to declare the innings as play was set to resume on Day 3, leaving tourists a mountain to climb.
