TIRUPATI: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams has confirmed the Vaikunta Ekadasi 2026 darshan schedule, outlining clear arrangements to manage the heavy year-end rush. The temple board announced that only online e-dip token-holders will be permitted Vaikunta Dwara Darshan on the first three days. This move aims to ensure smooth queue management and give priority to ordinary devotees.
Online Tokens Mandatory for First Three Days
TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu said December 30, December 31 and January 1 will be reserved exclusively for devotees holding Sarva Darshan tokens through the online e-dip system. Registrations for TTD e-dip tokens will be open from November 27 to December 1, with tokens allotted through the dip process on December 2. All other forms of darshan, including recommendations, will remain cancelled on these days.
General Darshan Resumes from January 2
From January 2 to January 8, devotees without tokens will be allowed for Sarva Darshan as usual. TTD will also release 15,000 Special Entry Darshan (Rs 300) tickets online each day, along with 1,000 SRIVANI Trust break darshan tickets. Only protocol dignitaries visiting in person will be allowed recommendation darshan.
Eight Lakh Tokens to Be Issued
Following the Chief Minister’s direction to prioritise common devotees, TTD will issue eight lakh Vaikunta Darshan tokens for the ten-day period. Out of 182 hours of darshan, 164 hours have been earmarked for ordinary devotees, ensuring maximum accessibility.
Special Arrangements for Tirumala Locals
For Tirumala residents, TTD will issue 5,000 Sarva Darshan tokens daily on January 6, 7 and 8, giving locals dedicated access during the final days.
Other Key Updates
On November 27, the Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone for the second prakaram of the Sri Venkateswara temple in Amaravati. Regarding the Parakamani case, the board sought a fair and transparent investigation and stressed strict action against those responsible.
