16 Prisoners of US' Stateville Correctional Center Conferred With A Bachelor’s Degree From Top 10 Universities

For the first time in US history that incarcerated students have been conferred a bachelor’s degree from a top 10 university. On November 15, Northwestern University’s Prison Education Program welcomed its inaugural graduating class of 16 prisoners, marking the first time a top-ranked US university has awarded degrees to students in prison.
