After several weeks of protest at the Bundesliga matches German Football League (DFL) has stopped negotiations on a 1 billion euro investment deal with a private equity partner. Fans had been increasingly disrupting games as a mark of protest as they objected to the deal. Supporters’ group Unsere Kurve hailed the move as a ‘major success for all active football fans’.
