Devendra Fadnavis Set to Return as Maharashtra CM, A Journey from Student Leader to Chief Minister

Devendra Fadnavis is set to take oath as Maharashtra's Chief Minister for a second term. A respected leader, Fadnavis previously served as Deputy Chief Minister and has earned admiration for his governance and leadership. Born into a Marathi Brahmin family in Nagpur, his early life was shaped by his father's imprisonment during the Emergency. He became Nagpur's youngest Mayor at 22 and served two terms. A graduate in law and business management, Fadnavis was appointed BJP president in Maharashtra in 2013. His first term as Chief Minister (2014) focused on infrastructure and rural development. In 2022, he returned as Deputy CM.
