Equity benchmark indices displayed volatility in Friday's trading session, as benchmark indices traded near record high levels, while global markets were jittery on account of fears of a delay in the interest rate cuts in the US. The S&P BSE Sensex opened in red at 75,335, and soon dipped to a low of 75,244. The BSE index, thereafter, recovered and bounced back into the positive zone to touch a high of 75,582.
