The iconic dabbawalas of Mumbai donned Team India jerseys to express their support for the Indian Men’s Cricket Team as they gear up for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in the United States. Known for their impeccable lunch delivery system, the dabbawalas are now making headlines for their spirited endorsement of the national cricket squad.

As the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup kicks off on June 2, people have been showing their support to the Men in Blue across the country, with the dabbawalas leading the charge in Mumbai.

These lunchbox carriers, celebrated for their punctual and precise services, have embraced the cricket fever sweeping across the nation. Clad in Team India's new official jerseys, a video shared by news agency ANI shows the dabbawalas, in a digression from their all-white ensemble, cheering for the men’s cricket team.

By wearing the jerseys, they aim to boost the morale of the players and connect with cricket enthusiasts in an eye-catching way.

Team India is set to play its first match of the tournament against Ireland on June 5 at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. The Indian team, led by captain Rohit Sharma, is a 15-member squad heading to the US.

India are in Group A of the tournament alongside arch-rivals Pakistan, Ireland, Canada and co-hosts USA. After Ireland, India will take on Pakistan in one of the most awaited matches of the upcoming T20 World Cup.
