Tara Sutaria and Veer Pahariya's latest viral moment has intensified the spotlight on their relationship. A video from Tara’s recent birthday celebrations in the Maldives has sparked engagement rumours after she casually referred to Veer as her “husband” during a playful exchange with Orry.

In the clip, Tara, dressed in a dazzling gold outfit for her island birthday party, is seen teasing Orry in a mock accusation. Pointing at him dramatically, she asks, "Have you been sleeping with my husband?" Orry, in his trademark deadpan style, replies, "Yeah," while glancing at Veer standing behind him.

Tara, feigning shock, then demands, "How do you sleep at night?" To which Orry quips, "With your husband," drawing laughter and prompting a hilariously stunned reaction from Veer. The moment ends with Tara yelling at Orry for his cheeky remark.

Tara and Veer first made their relationship public earlier this year in July. Their romance took center stage when Veer left a flirtatious comment on one of Tara’s Instagram posts containing behind-the-scenes photos from her music video Thodi Si Daaru with AP Dhillon. Tara had captioned the pictures, “Tu hi ae chann. Meri raat ae tu.” Veer responded with "Mine," adding heart and star emojis, and Tara replied, “Mine,” accompanied by an evil eye and a heart emoji.

Since then, the couple has grown increasingly comfortable with public appearances. From exchanging flying kisses to walking red carpets hand-in-hand, Tara and Veer have embraced being in the limelight together.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Tara is gearing up for one of her most ambitious projects yet. She will be seen in the upcoming Kannada period gangster drama Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups. The film boasts a powerhouse ensemble cast including Yash, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, and Akshay Oberoi. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film is slated for a 2026 release and is already generating significant buzz.
