OnePlus Pad India price drop; 12GB Android tab to cost less than Rs 40K

It was one of our favourite tabs from 2023 and it’s one of the best Android Tabs you can buy right now. OnePlus made its foray into the tablet segment with the OnePlus Pad that debuted in the first half of 2023. The brand followed that up with the launch of the OnePlus Pad Go that went on sale in October 2023. The Pad Go was pitched as a more affordable tablet but it’s the OnePlus Pad that still has our attention.

OnePlus has effected a Rs 1,500 price cut on the OnePlus Pad. The device comes in two storage variants: The 8GB/128GB variant will now cost Rs 36,499 down from its original price of Rs 37,999. The 12GB/256GB version now costs Rs 38,499, a price drop of Rs 1,500 over its original price tag of Rs 39,999.

One Plus is also offering a Rs 3,000 instant discount on select credit cards, bringing down the effective price to Rs 33,499 for the entry-level 8GB/128GB variant.

Display: the OnePlus Pad features what OnePlus calls the world’s first 7:5 144Hz ‘Read Fit’ display that works particularly well for e-Books or browsing the web. The immersive 11.61-icnh LCD display (2800 x 2000 pixels) with a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 500 nits are standout. The bezels are almost non-existent; OnePlus stretches the screen: body ratio beyond 88 percent and the display maxes out at 500 nits adding to its immersive appeal.

Hardware: it’s powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor and features a robust 9510 mAh battery under the hood. OnePlus bundles a 67W Super VOOC charger that powers the tablet in quick time. The camera set-up includes a 13MP primary cam and an 8MP selfie cam.
