Actor Alia Bhatt recently attended the 5th Red Sea International Film Festival and there she was honoured with the Golden Globe Horizon Award. While the award celebrated the actor as an artist, Alia's attire and look too served everyone with fashion goals.
Dressed in an-black ensemble, Alia looked every bit of a diva. She wore a classic, rare 1955 black Balmain dress. One look at actor and one is reminded of Audrey Hepburn's style, grace and elegance. The dress featured lace overlays, a scoop neckline and a form-fitting bodice. Besides, sheer panels woven through the dress gave the outfit a distinct edge and feel. The hemline of the voluminous skirt was asymmetrical and that added to the striking appeal of the attire.
Alia's makeup was on point. The sun-kissed, dewy makeup glow and a shiny lip gloss made her look like a complete slayer. She kept her open with side parting waves. To round off the look in complete style, the actress wore a dainty diamond choker necklace. The actress also wore a pointed ballerina pumps in black. Her complete look won a thumbs up from everyone.
Speaking about the dress, Rhea Kapoor wrote, "Part of his Florilège line (launched in 1952), a range of exquisitely hand-finished ready-made couture gowns sold in the Balmain boutique and select luxury department stores. Stunningly expensive at the time, today, these pieces are rare, highly collectible, and admired for their exceptional construction."
After giving honour to the actor, Red Sea Film wrote, "We’re proud to partner with the Golden Globes Awards to honor Hind Sabri with the Omar Sharif Award and Alia Bhatt with the Golden Globe Horizon Award on the sidelines of the 5th Red Sea International Film Festival. Noteworthy, these two awards highlight the achievements of the brightest creative talents in the Middle East and North Africa."
